Virtual Learning: American Red Cross Responding to Emergencies (RTE) – First Aid Component

Register Nationwide! Virtual Learning – New exciting way to participate in the course. Course Location: Virtual Learning – Google Meet Link to be sent prior to class

1. Select and Register for the class

2. Material will be shipped to you.  A mandatory 2 weeks prior to the registered course’s date and time selected to allow materials to be shipped and received. Purchaser is responsible for providing a valid shipping receiving address.  If you do not receive your materials you must email us.

3. Sign into the Google Meeting link on the date and time on your ticket to take your virtual class.

This “virtual” learning course is available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers and tablets). Classes will take place with a “Live” instructor at the date/time listed. A stable and uninterrupted internet source is required to participate in this class.

Responding To Emergencies (RTE) with CPR/AED For Professional Rescuers

The Responding to Emergencies Course (RTE) with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of High Level first aid emergencies and how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies, at the Professional level, to help victims who are Adults, Children and Infants.

Additional skills taught in addition to Adults, Children and Infants Professional CPR/AED include using and operating a Pocket Face Mask (Brand new Adult and Infant set included to keep as it is required for the course) as well as a Bag Valve Mask (BVM) and 2 Rescuer CPR/AED. Students who successfully complete this combination course will receive a certificate for Responding to Emergencies Course (RTE) with CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers valid for two (2) years. (Note: In NYS Professional level CPR must be recertified every year).

**This class is conducted via a traditional classroom learning format students complete the course work during the class session.

*Blended means that an online component must be completed prior to the course. After registration the online session is sent.
