The American Red Cross First Aid program is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, confidence, and hands-on skills needed to provide immediate care in a wide range of emergency situations. From minor injuries to sudden illnesses, this course prepares you to act quickly and effectively when every second counts.
In this training, you’ll learn how to recognize the signs of common first aid emergencies and provide appropriate care for issues such as bleeding, burns, broken bones, allergic reactions, seizures, heat stroke, and more. You’ll also develop critical decision-making skills—knowing when to call for professional medical help and how to keep someone stable until emergency responders arrive.
Ideal for parents, caregivers, teachers, coaches, workplace responders, and anyone who wants to be ready in a crisis, this course meets many workplace safety and OSHA compliance requirements. Upon successful completion, students will receive a 2-year nationally recognized certification from the American Red Cross.
