About CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers Instructor
The purpose of the instructor course is to train instructor candidates to teach the American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and Health Care Providers course.
The instructor course is delivered in a blended format. Instructor candidates must complete a portion of their training online, then complete a pre-course exam. The online portion provides an orientation to the American Red Cross and covers core information in the instructor’s manual.
After successful completion of a pre-course exam, instructor candidates must complete the classroom portion of the course. The classroom portion includes additional course information, verification of skills and practice-teaching assignments.
The class is taught in 1 day rather than 2 to accommodate working professionals. However it is strongly suggested that all students ensure they are well versed in the base level material.
**For students looking to attend a base level class prior to this class we offer a 50% discount to the base level class only if they register for both classes.
Base level certification required as a prerequisite for this class.

CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer Instructor
