10. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY (MINORS)

Aquatic Solutions, Inc. offers certain programs, classes, and certifications that are designed for or may include children under the age of 13 (for example, youth safety, aquatic, or introductory certification programs).
In connection with these programs, we may collect limited personal information from children under 13 solely for legitimate educational, training, safety, and certification-processing purposes, such as:
- The child’s name
- A parent’s or guardian’s email address
- In some cases, the child’s email address (where required by a credentialing or certifying organization)
Parental / Guardian Consent
We collect and process personal information from children under 13 only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, or where the information is provided by a school, camp, club, municipality, or other authorized organization acting on behalf of the child and responsible for obtaining appropriate consent.
Use of Children’s Information
Information collected from children under 13 is used only to:
- Register the participant for a program or course
- Administer training and attendance records
- Process certifications or course completion with credentialing organizations
- Communicate necessary course-related or certification-related information

Acknowledgment Forms for Minor Participants (Ages 15–17)
In certain programs, Aquatic Solutions, Inc. requires participants who are 15, 16, or 17 years of age to complete and sign written acknowledgement forms in connection with course participation, evaluations, or outcomes.
These forms may document:
- That the participant was informed they were unsuccessful(or any other grade) in a class or skill assessment
- The specific skills, criteria, or requirements that were discussed with the participant
- Guidance provided regarding next steps, retraining options, or program requirements
Purpose of Collection and Retention
These acknowledgment forms are collected and retained for legitimate business and compliance purposes, including:
- Documenting instructional feedback and communications
- Demonstrating that required course standards and evaluations were properly administered
- Maintaining records for quality assurance, credentialing, regulatory, insurance, and liability purposes
- Providing proof of conversation and notice in the event of questions, disputes, audits, or claims
Retention
Acknowledgment forms for minor participants ages 15–17 may be retained for a reasonable period consistent with:
- Applicable legal requirements
- Credentialing or accreditation standards
- Insurance, risk management, and record-keeping obligations
Such records are not used for marketing or advertising purposes and are accessed only by authorized personnel.
Parental / Guardian Awareness

12. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track (DNT) feature. There is no uniform standard for recognizing DNT signals, so we do not currently respond to them. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will update this notice.

Do we share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising? We may use certain marketing/targeting cookies or similar technologies that could be considered “sharing” under California law depending on configuration. If so, you may opt out.
